Lowestoft has a rich history in the fishing and boatbuilding industries, while Ipswich was a significant trading port and its local architecture reflects that heritage. Join the crew to sail close to the wind turbines and take in their vast scale, admire the nationally important and protected landscape, be among the small leisure craft, and enjoy a truly panoramic view of the famous coastal towns of Aldeburgh and Southwold, for picturesque views in all directions. On this short stretch, there is a lot to see, so bring your binoculars!</p><p>Nosing into coves and interesting bays as you take the slow route to Ipswich, discover the beauty and wildlife on and around this region. The River Orwell is a near-perfect location for birdwatchers and those who like to admire the Suffolk landscape.</p><p></p><p>You should plan to be in Lowestoft, either Heritage Quay, South Pier, or Excelsior Yard, Harbour Road by 10am on Friday, and we'll be in Ipswich Beacon Marina around 4pm on Sunday.</p><p></p><p>With all our trips, we reserve the right to cancel no later than -10 days if we are unable to fill enough berths. Full refunds will be given.</p>
