Constantia
Constantia is a fore-and-aft rigged schooner built in 1908 in Marstal, Denmark, originally launched as Minde and later renamed several times through decades as a Baltic cargo trader - hauling timber, limestone, cement, and grain along the Swedish coast until retiring from trade in 1967–68. Bought in 1988 by Hakon Malmborg, she underwent a major restoration starting in 1991, was renamed Constantia (after a ship in Dan Andersson's poem "Jungman Jansson"), and now operates under the Solnaship Foundation from her homeport in Huvudsta, Solna. Primarily a sail training ship for young people, she carries up to 22 trainees on her signature four-week July voyage through Nordic waters - sometimes including races like the Tall Ships Races (first raced in 2000), Nordic Sail, or Baltic Sail - while June and August sailings open up to corporate and adult groups, with capacity up to 36 for shorter archipelago trips.
