Alba Venturer
Alba Venturer is a Bermudan ketch built by Oyster Marine and launched in 1999, gifted to the young people of Scotland by patrons Curly and Barbara Mills. At 70 feet, she's OYT Scotland's longest-serving vessel, built on a standard Oyster 70' hull but fitted out specifically for sail training. She sails Scotland's west coast waters carrying up to 12 young trainees and 6 sea staff, delivering hands-on youth development voyages rather than commercial charters - teaching teamwork, responsibility, and seamanship through real sailing conditions.
